yeah
Some people really like studying chess, even if they kind of suck at the actual playing part...sigh. If you are that kind of a person, then Diamond is a fantastic choice. Also some folks like binge learning where they'll spend a few hours knocking out Lesson after Lesson; diamond is the only level that let's you do that. Ultimately it depends on your interest level and finances. For most adults the cost isn't much more than a weekend spent going out and partying, but I don't know your circumstances.
It depends on your prefrences. If you want infinite analyzes and lessons, then get it. If all you want to do is play chess games, then I don't think you should.
Platinum: Unlimited play, unlimited puzzles, unlimited analysis, computer bots, 5 lessons per week, 1,000 game library, no videos.
Diamond: All of the above. Bigger library, unlimited lessons, and unlimited videos.
For me, though I have wavered back and forth many times, the choice is clear--Platinum. As I advance in the lessons, I find that 5 a week is all my brain can handle. I can't imagine wanting more than 1,000 games in my library (and if it gets full, I can delete some). And, as to videos, if you go to YouTube you will find hundreds of hours of high-quality videos that address every topic under the sun. You could grow old just watching YouTube chess videos and doing nothing else.
Also, don't forget that you can supplement with lichess.org, which is totally free for all features.
Gold is the Best Buy if you don’t do lessons frequently. If you like the lessons then diamond might work out.

I agree.
I've been wondering if I should get the diamond membership. Is it worth it?
