Is there a way to play against the computer with time controls?

I've never played in a tournament, but would love to get the sense of the time of one.  However I cannot seem to find a way to launch a game against the computer with time controls.  I thought maybe the "Live Chess" option would work, but when the game starts....no time controls.  Any help is appreciated.

Go to "Computer" and select the bod/difficulty you want to play against.  After you choose one, you will have the ability to insert time controls by selecting the "Custom" option.

Thanks -- never would have found that.  Now if there was only more choices for time control.  Seems like the choice for standard/classic tournament chess is not in the pick list.

But why not against a human? In long time control?

If there is no option to pick time control you want, you can play one game OTB against computer by manually making moves for both sides. Pick whatever bot/engine you like, set up a clock and play a game. Let computer 'think' for few minutes but don't cheat by looking at top 3 options. In that time you can look at the position on the board and think for yourself. Repeat for every move and you will get a classical game against a machine

That's a good idea too - thanks.
