🤔
Is this guy really a FM !?

CM 2200
FM 2300
IM 2400
GM 2500
I do not know the rules for holding titles.
Maybe he was over 2300 in the past but now is below CM

Don't talk non sense. Below CM ? Yeah right! Beating a WGM easily, below CM lol do you know much about the game? Did you actually watched the video, moves he's been making? Does it look to you like he's a 19 hundred player? Lmao
So your logic if people on chess.com have a rating 2800 in blitz, but no title what so ever it means they are below CM? Even tho they beating GM'S easily

i once saw the profile of an "IM" with a rating of get this....2195! and the strangest thing, this wasnt some OLD player that got some really bad stroke and decided to play on with his rating bleeding, but actually a player in his 20's i believe
p.s oh i just found it again.

no disrespect meant to a player from my birth country, but it genuinely puzzles me.
i dont even get how that's possible

He likely placed high in a junior tournament and qualified for an automatic title. His rating graph has never been over 2200.
that's just ridiculous. FIDE actually allows that!?

It is an "exception" written specifically in the rules (https://www.fide.com/fide/handbook.html?id=198&view=article section 1.24).
What will really make you mad: http://ratings.fide.com/card.phtml?event=16400240
How about a 31-year-old IM who has never broken 2000?
mind blown.

Nigel Short will clean this up. Electors! Vote Nigel!

I wonder if FIDE deliberatly attempted to inject more chess titles in continents where there was a perceived lack of them, of if they simply put that rule without thinking.

They should add a rule claiming you get a GM title if you beat Kirsan. He's the top boss after all. (so I can get the title; he's favourite but I think I have chances).

Guys guys PLEASE , we are here to talk about playing strength of one individual from the video and NOT about any other off topic conversation, such as how to get a title !❗

Is he an FM? no, otherwise his FIDE rating card would show a title. Did he win a zonal or a junior title and get a non-standard FM title? No, otherwise his rating card would show a title. Also, Russia has over 2100 title holders so good luck winning any tournament as an untitled player.
You may be surprised, but you can title a youtube video any thing you like. FM, IM, GM, Checkers Super Grandmaster. It's a video.
Before you get all over yourselves about titles, this is one blitz game. Titles are awarded on standard time controls ONLY. Not rapid, not, blitz, not bug-house. but standard. W titles are awarded to only women so her title vs his non title is hardly relevant and titles don't trump moves on the board anyway.
What is more relevant are the blitz ratings. She is currently 2158 and he is 2195 so it is not all that mind blowing that he won under a time pressure collapse as is the way it goes in blitz.
Anyway, GG.

What do you think his actual strength is? IM or ...?
