tkbunny my friend, it's about the fame, the money, and of course, the chess talent that he was so abundantly gifted with ... he is a natural ... a prodigy since he's been a child! Plus he has charisma which no one can deny!

I actually think Carlsen looks better than Tyler, at least in those pictures. Although it's close -- they both have certain features that the other doesn't.

According to news reports Justin Bieber's father has had plastic surgery so no one can recognize him and associate him with bad boy Justin! No more massive jaw with that guy! All kidding aside, Magnus Carlsen's overall persona and charisma and overall physical appearance is a big plus for the promotion of our beloved game of chess! I read that Garry Kasparov's support of Carlsen is mainly because he is young and best able to further promote chess all over the world! The promotion of the game of chess is the main reason why Garry Kasparov wants to be the next FIDE President.
George Cloony should be a grandmaster if chess talent is judged on looks.
A bit off topic, I hope the Nobel Piece Price goes to Miss World, Miss World always wishes peace on earth when she is giving thanks recieving the trophy. Magnus didnt, but he didnt have that beauty either. He looks good, but not that good. I guess both Carlsen and Karjakin plays better than they look.
