Kindle app problems

Just tried to capture my opponent's room with my bishop and the app would not let me make the move. Not an issue of an alternate check. Had to go to my iPhone app to make the capture. Worked fine on iPhone. Not the first time the Kindle app has failed. And neither happy allows me to go on and off vacation while traveling. Had to borrow a laptop.
Now I can't send this.
