Because if you sac your king
Because
Um
Because people are to dumb to sac their king
Why are there not more king sacrifices in games! I see queen sacs, rook sacs, all types of sacrifices but never king sacs! Why?!?!
They happen all the time. Any game where a player is essentially even or winning and they make a move that allows forced mate is a king sac

Very good point, but those are just stupid moves. I've yet to see a player sacrifice their king well.

I've always heard queen and rook sacs but I never heard of castle or horse sacs. Why is that?
King sacrifices are possible in suicide chess, where the king is treated as any other piece and its loss does not necessarily mean the loss of a game.

Because queen and rook sacrifices are more highly staked. If you sacrifice a queen, you have to make sure that you perform the sacrifice well for the expensive investment.
I have sacrificed bishops and knights for several pawns before, so the term sacrifice still works for bishops, knights and sometimes even pawns (gambits, for example).

Or are you referring to the terminologies "castle" and "horse" rather than "rook" and "knight"?
A rook and a castle refer to the same thing.
Isn't this the same as losing on purpose?
As I've said before, I've seen people blunder their king away, but I've never seen someone actually sac their king to their advantage. I know how valuable the king is, but if you sacrificed for something really good, it would be worth it.
In Chess963.333 both sides have 2 kings. Saccing one of them leads to amazing crowd spectacles: "the king is dead, long live the king!" applauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse!
