What rating list are you reffering to? In relation to the human elo rating list we don´t know how strong Komodo would be. I estimate somewhere in the 3100-3200 range which would equal to 80-90% score against 2800 players, assuming the program would be running on an average 4 core desktop PC at classical time controls.
Stockfish is still stronger and more important it is free. Komodo has barely catched up to the level of SF8, while there are already development versions of Stockfish which are some 20 elo stronger than SF8.

Computer ratings are not FIDE ratings, so the numbers don't really mean anything anyway.
This list doesn't have Komodo 11.01, so I wonder if it's even been tested against other engines.

If you go to complete list you can see Komodo 11.01 there, so he meant this rating list. The error bars are huge with the small amount of games though. And here with even more games http://inwoba.de/ Komodo 11.01 is about as strong as SF8 from over half a year ago.
