Laughable chess position photo for a chess set

When browsing on Amazon for a chess set, I found one with this as one of its pictures. Pawns on the back rank, what??! shock grin tear

I didn't buy it. They're so cheap and careless that they wouldn't ask somebody who knows chess to check their product photos.

Feel sorry for the  guys in the picture because they photoshoped their board in to the picture. Look at the bishop in his hand and black pieces reflection.

It's like they mirror-imaged the reflection, both vertically and horizontally.

Here's another crazy position. It doesn't even conform to Fischer random chess which requires similar pieces to be in the same file on the other end. Here they have knight facing bishop on the f and g files, king facing queen on d and e, and the black pieces on ranks 1 and 2.

They're selling products, not playing chess.

But they should know a bit more about what they're selling, or expend a tiny bit of effort to ask somebody who does.

I don't blame Amazon, as they're selling millions of products and are just using the photos from the manufacturers or third-party sellers.  The blame is on the manufacturers and sellers who take or select the photos, especially those who have their own brand name on the set.

Anyway, I prefer the look of the second set, after seeing a customer photo of it in Amazon's reviews. It's a travel set with magnetic pieces.
