Lebron is going to retire with every record in the books. He will break Kareem’s scoring record
Lebron vs. Jordan
Antetokounmpo could develop into a very good player. All he needs to do is develop something resembling a competent jump shot

I'll take Bill Russell over any of them.
He led his high school team to two consecutive state titles his junior and senior years.
He led his college team (U. of San Francisco) to two NCAA National Championships.
He led the Celtics to 11 NBA titles in the 13 years he played there.
Numbers are fine but winning defines greatness.
Objectively speaking Lebron just does everything better than Jordan did. Lebron is the more efficient scorer. He’s a better 3 point shooter. He’s a better rebounder and a much better passer than Jordan was
1.Jordan, 2.Mamba 3.Bird. LeBron is barely top-5, if at all.
I wouldn’t put Kobe in the top 10. Bird would be like 5th or 6th right behind Magic Johnson , and Jordan would be 2nd
To me Lebron solidified his place as the 🐐 with his performance in the 2016 NBA Finals beating the 73 win warriors down 3 games to 1 with two games on the road leading both teams in points, assists, rebounds, blocks, and steals. I can’t think of anything more clutch than breaking a 50-year Cleveland sports drought with the finest performance of his career (or of anyone else’s for that matter) against the most dominant team ever assembled
Without Jordan the Bulls were still an elite team, and still made the playoffs when he was playing baseball. When Lebron left Cleveland they immediately went from the best team in the Eastern Conference to the worst team in the nba. Immediately.
No one has ever single handedly carried teams like Lebron has. Not even Jordan
How about going 6-0 in the finals and winning the MVP every time.
It’s a quirky stat with no real significance. It ignores the fact that he failed to reach the NBA finals time and again. Jordan fans like to pretend that those were the only 6 seasons that he played but they weren’t. Fact of the matter is losing in the NBA finals is better than losing in the first round of the playoffs.
Would you say that Lebron is more talented than Jordan, but that Jordan is more accomplished, clutch, and competitive?
Obviously I’m not saying Michael Jordan wasn’t an incredible talent, but what I’ve heard so far is that what separates him in the GOAT debate is his clutchness and work ethic.
Basically my question is if you were describing the ideal basketball player would he have Lebrons talent and Jordan’s intangibles or both Jordan’s talent and intangibles?

We have a similar reoccurring debate between the 2x greats of AFL, they are Gary Ablett and Wayne Carey.
I don’t think the Warriors are going to win anymore titles. Steph is old, KD is 30. Iguodala’s like 35. Draymond is like 29 and way overrated.
I don’t think the Lakers will win this year. (My money is on Boston) but I think next year probably for LA

I don't think anyone has ever accused Lebron of being clutch when it matters most.
That's what it all comes down to for me.
This is going back a few years (LeBron with his first time with Cleveland). There were complaints of LeBron not being a clutch player and folding like a lawn chair in the fourth. Hence a LeBron work day -- you work 6 out of 8 hours.
Since the beginning of time fans have debated who the greatest of all time is. Now the debate has come down to just two players.
In my opinion, with all due respect to Michael Jordan, it’s time to call Lebron James what he is. He’s the greatest basketball player who ever lived.
What are your thoughts chess.com who is the greatest of all time ?
