Is this the end of the world as we know it?

SF9's scandinavian defense wasn't enough to stop that monster.

Are u sure this is Stockfish, Black seems more like U1000 patzer, blundered a piece and played terribly.

hello

The Grade for a Candidate Master is 2200. Such players know about forks, pins and material. Not to mention a whole lot more.
There is no chance a CM would play 5. ... e5 since the triple attack on [c6] is staring black in the face.

I must admit I got caught here. Here is the source of the game

10...Nd7? is a blunder but wasn't black already in a bad position?

How is this strange opening called? (1.e4 d5 2.exd5 c6 ?!) Is it sound?

I am not understanding, why Stockfish plays that bad in that game?

Confusing, on a related issue, what is the approximate rating of the online, Leela Chess Zero play.lczero.org.  I was tremendously impressed by the alpha zero but not sure what this shows other than an early version of Stockfish which is not particularly good, at least by computer standards.

You can NOT dumb-down the engines to a 2200 rating (they’re 3400-3600 under full power!) and then say one is better than the other. They limit their ratings by a combination of time, limited number of moves, limited use of evaluation algorithms, and intention error introduction.

The Leela Chess Zero engine is no “monster.” It came in 5th of 24 in round 1 of the chess.com tournament this year and finished 4 of the 8 that advanced to the 2nd round. It has a poor record in the Top Chess Engine Championship in 2018 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leela_Chess_Zero)

Personally, I love Stockfish 9, but if you told me I had evaluate my games or explore openings using Houdini, Komodo, Leela or a dozen other 3000+ rated engines, it would make no significant difference to me!

Leela chess zero is really good in that game,  but how was Stockfish that  bad?!
