I was doing lessons today and when I reached the second lesson on the expert level it did not let me start it. The only option was to unlock all lessons.
I have a free membership. Is the reason that I can't do more lessons because free membership doesn't have access to expert level lessons or because I did to many lessons today?
Pauliez

Yes to which one?
Can't access expert or too many for today?
PawnosaurusRex

You are limited in the number of lessons per day. Five with Gold membership, 10 with Platinum and unlimited with Diamond.

Gold membership is free?
CompleteChaos
How much does the free membership get?

No we don't do nite out every month, every year. You rich people are lucky

MitSud
One night one every year, instead spent here, is probably way more valuable, than going to a nice restaurant.

That kind of sounds like a scam right there.

What do you mean, doesn't everyone give 100$ to a stranger for absolutely no reason? Good thing woollensock's account is closed

saadeh14

do you mean 1 lesson per week or per day?

Albertop1

Hey guys, a little late to the party, but I hope I can help anyone who comes along this thread later.

Any premium membership will get you unlimited access to begginer lessons, apart from that, gold and platinum get you 3 and 5 advanced lessons each week respectively.

You can play all beginner level lessons without paying a dime, but you NEED to have a premium membership to play the advanced ones.

Its important to make the distinction between BEGINNER and ADVANCED lessons.

Hope this helps those who are considering buying a premium membership.

Thank you! I have a free membership and I was wondering why it kept saying next lesson is ready, and they were locked. Think it might be a glitch relating to the one that shows a 92 percent complete beginner lesson, when they have really all been complete.

ilovekittens

Thanks, was confused about that too. Thought it was glitching out for me too.

El_Toro3

Super Useful (not sarcastically) I have that problem to.

What does everyone mean when they say they have a free membership? I just want to play the beginner lessons for free nothing else. happy.png

the free membership is what you get when you create a new account after that you have the option to upgrade or not
now I will assume that you didn't upgrade which means you are on the free membership
currently,  according to chess.com if you have a free account aka (free membership) you can only watch 1 lesson per week!
