levy’s GM preparation

He should get Hikaru to assist. Right now, every step forward seems to be accompanied by two steps back. I feel sorry for Levy. His age or mental state makes him too weak to compete against younger, brighter minds. He may have risen to GM in the 1960's. But, today, pros study too hard and have developed better over the board calculation skills than Rozman. I have failed at many things in my life. At some point, we need to accept reality.

Let him cook. His journey only just started. There's nobody more aware of his shortcomings than himself, remains to see if he can deal with those over a few years of time. You can't change in the span of a few months.

Having 2 coaches would be really bad for obvious reasons and if he wanted Hikaru as a coach I'm sure he'd have already arranged it. There's nothing wrong with his current coach.

Yeah, his coach is good. Also, a bad tournament isn't the end of the world, it's the average results overall that matter & he started off with 2 great tournaments. 2 months time off from tournaments will be good just as long as he keeps studying.
