LF 1700+ opponents on chess.com

I am tired of beating up 1400 and 1500 opponents who aren't good opponents when I am on my game and then losing all my rating points the next day and have to beat on them again. I'm never going to improve like this. Does anyone 1700+ want to do legitimate sparring sessions daily on chess.com, with the trust that I'm not a bad player, I just have consistency issues.

P.S. If you do this, you are my ******* HERO, you don't know how few chess players will play someone they see as "inferior" and when I beat high rated players they think im cheating when i'm just inconsistent in my play.

Hey thanks! Sure harryz, let's play, I'll be done with my game in a sec, thanks a lot!

I forgot to mention that I like long time controls, like 15 0 or 30 0, please someone do this for me.

Well, sorry for taken this moment and topic to ask you, but would you mind playing me too, in an online (not live) game... Unrated is fine for me. Currently I am 1500 in online and much lower in live. I would just like to play a game and afterwards maybe get some pointers.

Wilbert_78

Cool I'll send you an invite for an unrated game. It's however 12.42am here, so I won't be making many moves right now :) And thank you allready!

Looking at your game history you look very consistent.

You're not beating up on 1400 and 1500 players.  In your last 100 Live Standard games you've played 29 games vs 1400-1599 opponents and scored 4 out of 29 games.

Also your best win is recorded in your stats and was a 1600 player.

And how many of those games was I up a vast amount of material only to blow it all on a blunder? You are looking at stats and making an incorrect attempt to belittle my efforts to find better opponents.

Berder

I guess you should work on not making blunders then!

JohnnySaysThankYou

Anyone can blunder berder, its not a matter of skill level its a matter of psychological consistency.

Anyway, that's not the point, I'd like a 1700 sparring partner for 30 minutes and I don't think I'll ever find one.

I once played an amazing move Magnus Carlsen would make, but most of the time I blunder everything. Am I Magnus Carlsen?

I cannot explain how rude this is. Please don't be rude like this again.

EDIT: I'm just a little shaken, I came here a weeks ago with a goal in mind, fed up that I was unable to play players above my level. Everyone in this forum has been nothing but rude except for harryz. Thank you, harryz, you have been too kind, people like melvernboy just toss their sarcastic egos in my face.

king_me_wing

If one person is rude to you, it's probably because they are an asshole. If everyone is rude to you, it might have something to do with you...

KingBavaro

I will play. Unrated.

JohnnySaysThankYou

Alright KingBavaro, thank you, it is good to see nice people on this forum.

KingBavaro

No problem. I care about my elo, but I like chess to. And a lot of people help me to raise my level when I was around 1500. Just send me an invite. I will play 24 hours online mode. I work a lot. But i promise I will play as fast as I can.

Bump to see if anyone is interested in me as a live sparring partner.
