Lichess is a joke compare to Chess.com in terms of rating strength and improvement !

Wanna know what I think- I thinkchess.com is b$11$h!t and it'd take Lichess over it anytime. I do agree though that Liches's ratings are lower than chess.com's by 200-300, BUT Liches's puzzles are much harder by at least 200, for example, a guy I know has a rating of 3100 puzzle rating here, and 2500 on Liechess (I don't use Chess.com anymore- so I can't use myself for an example-. my puzzle rating won't add up because I'm doing all mine on Lichess). BUT THIS IS THE MAIN REASON CHESS.COM IS OVERRATED. Chess.com makes you pay a ton of money to unlock everything. If you don't pay you ONLY GET 3 puzzles! ONLY 1 lesson EVERY DAY! Liechess everything is unlimited for no cost. The point is, that Lichess wants to get more people into the game of chess, and chess.com is in it for the money, for example, lichess is.ORG and chess.com are COM. In the end, I would take chess.com over Lichess if it was free, they do offer very good lessons and ways to learn, that go way over what Lichess has, but even if you pay like 30 US$ for gold, you don't even unlock everything, they are asking for 99 US$ for a year with diamond! SOUNDS LIKE BU--SH--! TO ME! A large section of chess.com's members are kids and teens, and do they have money sitting around for this, no. Oh, they can always beg Mommy or Daddy for one, but I doubt that'll work. Go ahead and think chess.com is better. but they just want your money...

Ofc lichess is much better. It's not just about the money. I mean even tho if the chess com premium membership was free, still lichess has better functions than here. I don't think anyone who has used lichess could claim that chess com was better. It's obvious. But as the Op mentions, there are around 200-300 rating difference. But it's about the avarage starting rating, not a big deal. But as a web developer myself can easily say that lichess's web development is really best of the best.
I am on Lichess, and my opinion on ratings between them selves and chess.com and other sites are of the opinion that ratings on any online site are pretty much a basic recognition, afterall online ratings are not a real rating like you would achieve over the board, that's a real rating, face-to-face, pressure of the clock ticking away, a crowed gathering adding to the pressure, a rating through FIDE, ECF, USCF these are proper ratings online chess ratings are just a basic guide not to be taken too seriously between any online chess site!!?
In Rapid
Lichess: I'm constantly beating players rated from 1500 to 1750. My rating stays above > 1500
Chess.com: I have a hard time against 1000-1100 players. I lose to some 900-1000 players. Not even lose, I've been destroyed.
In Blitz
Lichess: I'm constantly beating players rated from 1200 to 1400. My rating stays above > 1200
Chess.com: I have a hard time beating opponents rated 700-800.
Accuracies:
In Lichess, I usually get accuracies at around 80, sometimes up to 95% according to Lichess engine.
In chess.com, my accuracy is around 60 to 75% according to chess.com engine.
Random perceptions:
At chess.com there are phenomenons I almost never encounter in Lichess:
1. Most of the time I lead the game, sometimes by a fair margin. Then I end up losing. Almost like playing a weak player at the beginning, then playing a much stronger as the game goes on. On Lichess I seldom lose when I feel I'm on top, here I'd bet money that my strong start ends up badly.
2. With my main openings as black&white, I thought I have seen all counters on Lichess. At chess.com I encountered totally new and deadly counters to my strategies. Chess.com for me was like entering an adult league after playing with my own age.
I don't think it's fair to call any chess website ratings a "joke", yes lichess tends to be around 150-250 higher for the same strength but there are still GMs and IMs that go there daily. Start beating those or getting ratings of over 2500 and then you can talk.
All these rating systems are essentially mockups of the normal FIDE ratings system, and they tend to be inflated because it makes people feel good. I don't think any of them claim that they are actually accurate compared with FIDE ratings.

Do you understand what a rating is ? it reflects the pool of players that all what you said makes no sense it is like me saying Chess.com ratings are a joke compared to my ECF rating

I just like chess.com's UI better lol
It's OK, nobody got jailed because of bad taste.

lichess is way better than chess.com
why are you even here then
Because he can.
Well I am a member on Lichess and I have never experienced and abusive false a accusations against my play, and never any on Schemingmind either ... but have had enough on Chess.com to convince me not to be a paid member, an example recently was when I skewered an opponents two knights by pushing a pawn on and after my opponent took it with there Knight I moved my queen to the sixth rank attacking both un-defended pieces! Oh your not fair and worse... reporting you for your play Etc. the other 2 sites I play on never ever had any of this attitude only from chess.com opponents, that 35% who accuse everyone who may do well against them!!?

I don't like puzzles as well on Lichess. Both sites have puzzles that seem to call for computer moves, but I see these more often on Lichess.

If you’re curious how your Lichess rating stacks up on Chess.com, I’ve put together a data‑driven conversion method complete with interactive charts:

I’d love to hear your feedback!
I don't understand people who are saying , that Lichess blitz ratings are harder to achieve, it must be a joke !
No matter what level you are it's so much easier to achieve higher ( artificially inflated) blitz rating on Lichess, then Chess.com .
I won so many games just by keeping a knight left , even tho I run out of time , I still won, where's on chess.com it would be a draw and no points given for a win !
Sorry who is saying this did you find it on made it up your self
up dot com it is a different pool the ratings are different
