It says right up front that none of the pictures or data are transmitted to chess.com.

It was just an April Fools Day post.

You can make silly pictures with ?? marks.

And you believe that no image meta data is captured.. Right. Its a cheap gimmick that has nothing to do with chess.

It is so obviously an April Fools prank.

How is a data grab which is still active an April fools prank. Which part of this feature is a prank.. Chess.com’s privacy policy says they may store biometric or behavioral data. That’s not ‘just a filter’—it needs to be opt-in and transparent.

No tool doesn't send the image to the site and the "review" is local,. There's nothing about the images sent to the server; it's not an AI.

Maybe at the moment.. And if that changes you won't be notified

Life review provides zero value, why is it even in the app. and unless you place a man in the middle proxy we have no idea what metadata it sends back to chess.com about our personal photos. There's no Button to remove it from menu screen. And tech companies all the time increase the data collection scope post initial rollout.

April fools day is a single... Day

It prob doesn't steal data. If so, proof? My proof is chess.com saying it, the official website. Yours?
