The Live Standard Rating in my oppinion is accurate. I also, have found by reading many other articles that the FIDE rating is,differrant than the USCF rating. The true way to proove to yourself that your rating reflects your level of play is to join a rated chess club and participate in FIDE and USCF sanctioned tournements. What you really want to know is that you earned your rating. To be like the best you must put in the work, 3 Hours of playing, 6 Hours of studying chess a week. This is what I have learned from reading about the best players out there, they put in alot of time in all aspects of chess. I hope this helpful.
How realstic is the new LIVE standard rating, as compared to USCF rating? After the 150 points boost...Thax. I am 1500+ now.
