I'm looking to play chess with someone every week. I've been to the Marshall Chess Club in Greenwich village but no luck. Anyone out there 1500+ rating interested in meet up and playing in the evenings or weekends? Please let me know.

You live in west village? You must be rich! What was wrong with the Marshall Chess Club? It's one of the most well known chess clubs in the world if you can't find a chess partner there...

Haha, wish I were rich(er)! I thought the same about Marshall as well, but it seems like there are only tournament players who enroll, play their designated matches and leave. No casual players hanging around there. At least when I went there a couple of times, that's what I observed.
