Loosing to 600 elo when I'm 1200.....

Hi all
I've been playing 10 min games for around a year and got up to around 1200, learning Strats and improving games. I am hovering around 1100-1200 and happy with that progress. I started playing 5 min and I have lost over a 100 this week alone and won under 20- ive been players around 500-800. What the hell is going on?! I am now thinking about quitting playing chess all together and it's just too frustrating to notice I am loosing to people who I could have beat a year ago. I honestly cannot even fathom that I've lost 80% of games to 500-800 players; it blows my mind.
