Flagging is a skill and no shame in winning. Bullet play is also mechanics and a technique, some of these guys can bust out such quick moves or pre-moves it’s ridiculous, even accurate ones as well.
I have recently focused on my bullet game in the last month and a half just to gain +425 ELO points. It is a different strategy that now has messed up my rapid play lol.
Lastly, nothing wrong with managing expectations when playing bullet. Expect less accurate play, mistakes, missed tactics, blunders and losing a minor piece early in the game isn’t crushing. Sometimes, even a solid defence can survive a win.
After reviewing my games, I do notice most of my wins are from flagging and material advantages vs blitz or rapid play > more wins by resignation and check mates.
Just wondering if low level blitz (150-300) winning on time is reputable until I'm skilled enough to check mate or does the Analyzed accuracy bear any weight here. Or just an excuse, lol. Thx for the opinions!!!
