Manual position setup, then play computer

Does anybody know if there is any good software that lets you manually setup positions on the board, then play against the computer?  I get a chess puzzle (based on real professional games) in the local  paper and find it helpful to use the chess.com analysis board to play with it.  I think it would be cool if I could set these up and have an option to have the computer choose the "opponent's" next move.

In chessmaster 11 you can set up position and choose whom you want to play against.

it's called "set up position."

you can even set chessmaster vs chessmaster in the position.

or  you can play against any other computer character from that position if you want an easier game.

Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.  Thank you.  I'm going to order it and try it out.
