Awesome set, but Luigi as queen is a bit odd design choice. Granted, I suppose that piece is technically the king's advisor, so it works when interpreting it that way. But Peach definitely shouldn't be a bishop. Considering bishops typically take a vow of celibacy, and Peach keeps going back and forth between Bowser and Mario (no one gets kidnapped by the same person/creature that many times by accident).

I agree, however Yoshi as knight and the goomba as the Rook is awesome as hell....And damn Bowser is gigantic..he hardly fits in his square.
Hey! That set is awesome... I will agree with all of you. I do think that Luigi as queen is weird, though.
