Hello Usually people create these threads when they join chess.com, but looks like you've been here since 2021 @CedricGao What got to you make this thread, or was it someone else's thread that you inherited when the op deleted their post?

If you created this thread, then that doesn't apply here.

If someone else creates a forum thread and it is responded to, but then the op (original poster) deletes their forum, the forum thread doesn't actually disappear - it only deletes their original post and the member of the first response "inherits" the thread as if they created it.

Here is an example (which nicely illustrates this since I coincidentally quoted their post). The op deleted their thread sometime after I had already responded, so their post is gone, but the thread still exists and now this forum thread appears under "My Topics" even though I did not create this thread; I "inherited" it when they deleted their post because I was the next post in the thread.
