I think you are lying. Or your Mom lets you win. You are seriously the worst opponent I have ever played and I have been playing for 40 years.

You play to many games. You take to long to move. Chess is a serious game to most of us. Not a Sims game where the opponents are computer generated AI units.

Play your games then waste time blogging and posting.

What do you give her on Mother's Day, a black eye?! You're supposed to let your mom win.

No way! Just cause she ur mum don't mean u have to let them win. They love u regardless of u beating them or not. Just gives her a target to beat him back.

When i was a beginner i set small goals for my self to give me an idea of how much better i was getting. First goal was to be the best in my family, fortunatly no one in my family are masters or even serious tournament players, so it only took a few mths.

2nd i went to a chess club in my area (which i can recommend for anyone) and i got beaten so badly by a mid level player of about 1300+ ACF rating. This gave me a new set of goals. Get better so i can beat this player, which took me about 12-18mths roughly. Then i set my goals to beating the best players in the club who were about 1500-1600+ players. Which took me 2yrs to equal them. Then i set my goal to become the club champion and the best player in my area. All of which i had achieved by 2000. I became the highest the next year.

So one of the best things u can do to help improve is set goals big enough to challenge u but not so big u cant get there in reasonable time.

To achieve the results of course means lots of studying chess in all the area's and then playing alot, losing a lot and then writing notes and learning from each game you play.

Don't just be content beating ur mother kiddo move on to bigger fish.
