How is there no bot that is 3200+ elo? I'm sure stockfish 15.1 goes over that. Even humans can get near that (2800~ish elo), like the best chess player atm, Magnus Carlsen.

Stockfish 15 is 3620, so Mittens is between 3200 and 3620

It's not confusing, really. As strong as an engine can be IN THEORY, assuming it's configured for best play, it's strength is limited by the depth it's allowed to reach, as well.
Of course they will not be allowing this engine to take up an entire processor per match, and it needs to reply in reasonable time, so it's likely the depth search is narrower, leading to suboptimal strength.
So when you play it using Stockfish 15, especially if you run it from a desktop, let it use all your cores, and reach depths of 30 or beyond in almost every position, then Stockfish wins.
Actually i play against Mittens and i lost every match..
I was feeling so bad at chess... Because i couldn't beat a Cat with Elo 1 and then i saw on youtube Nakamura fighting for his life and i felt better xD

If you didn't know, Mitten bot is a new chess.com bot. However this is one of the most confusing parts, when we come to see mitten bot's rating as 1. According to the Stockfish 15, Mitten is expected to be around 2000 elo. Meanwhile, if you do a match between mitten and a 3200 rated engine, Mitten will win the match almost all the time.
So What's her real rating? According to the info that Mitten can defeat 3200 rated engine itself, but looses to stockfish 15, is completly confusing. However there is NO bot that can go more than 3200+ elo yet, so confirmed, we have the rating of mitten here:
2950- 3000
As this is the only guess stockfish could make, and so that can you believe this elo have defeated a chess bot that is 3200 elo?
