Money thugs in chess(Fide)

I read some where Bobby Fischer played Spassky for 5 Million Dollas in 1992 and then Magnus and anand played a match for 2 Million dollas. 22 years later after the Fischer match players get a price fund of 2 million, theres something fishy here. Magnus Carlson is getting robbed by Fide. Events that attract a lot of people generetate money through advertising and through deals for televison stations that want to broadcast and cover the match. I know for a fact fide is making more money on this games than people realise. Can some1 pliz explain the logic behind players being payed peanuts in chess.

Playchesspoorly we are talking about getting what is due to you here, getting payed what you deserve as a chess professional. A problem with a lot of geniuses is that they become geniuses in the field of expertise and tend to neglect the business side of their field of expertise. I know a lot of deals are pushed under the table when it comes to sports events just like they do in boxing, the money thats put out there is nothing near the actual amount thats being made, we call for fide to be transparent and do a cashflow thats available to the public for viewing of how much they really make durring this events, especially durring the world championship match. 

There are other things to at least consider. Wealthy patrons will pay handsomely for a top player to coach their children. You won't necessarily hear about it. It does go on however.
