mouse cursor speed training

I would have reached 1300 long ago if I could move pieces faster.

not being able to match the speed of my brain with my cursor feel's irritating and unfair!

is there a way to enhance my moving speed?

I can't play like this any more!

Just some basics:

Don't use a wireless mouse (even if it has virtually no lag, you can trick yourself into seeing it)

The mouse should have a mousepad and be clean

You want an ergonomic setup. In a natural sitting position for example your elbow is closer to your hip then your chest. My mouse is on a surface about 30 cm closer to the ground than my keyboard for example.

Rest the bottom of your palm (near the wrist) on the mousepad as a pivot point. To move the mouse use your wrist and fingers. This is much more accurate than pivoting from your elbow or shoulder.

You should be able to move your mouse anywhere on the screen without breaking your pivot point, and without lifting the mouse. If you have to do either of these then you should increase the mouse sensitivity.

To practice you might find games like OSU! fun.

But you can also practice by just playing more speed chess.

for me the main problem is that I apply too much or less pressure on the mouse. too much loses the ability to zap around the board, too less, I usually end up making moves by accident.

With the bottom of your plam anchored on the mousepad, can you move the cursor anywhere on your screen without lifting the mouse off the pad, and without changing your pivot point?

To move my cursor across the screen the top of my mouse archs about 6 cm
From a normal grip, to move my cursor from the bottom of the screen to the top I only have to extend my thumb and pinky.

No offense. But with a 1200 rating a faster mouse shouldn't be your first priority to raise your rating.
