Geez congrats
Mutual Respect @GMCanty

Well played @Kowarenai
Humane values are being constantly pushed aside by the ruthless era of professionalism nowadays and this is especially evident in chess. I find it quite heartening when I see players show mutual respect to each other, and for the game (although the idea of "sportsmanship" is as vague as can be like I found out here).

I HAVE TO SAY THAT YOU ARE A FOOL. IF I BLUNDER AND OPPONENT OFFER DRAW I TAKE. IF IN REMATCH MY OPPONENT BLUNDER, I WILL SAY "NO" AND GET THE RATING POINTS. WINNING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN CARING.

Prove that "Winning is more important than caring"

there's no point in caring much considering it was his viewer arena and a 3 min unrated game so i have nothing much to gain except trying to beat him there. however the arena clock was simply under a minute and he could have stalled so i saw no point in trying to win when he could have just waited for the arena to end. i am also a general fan of his videos and really felt like it was a accidental blunder that he missed so i just offer the draw instead

Most people don't care if you win a game, they will care if they think you are a jerk. You are well within your rights to play for the win, but I wouldn't go around advertising that "winning is more important than caring".

OK UNRATED GAME IS FINE. BUT GOOD TO SEE THAT WE ARE IN AGREEMENT THAT IF IT IS RATED GAME, WE SHOULD JUST TAKE THE WIN

the arena was under a minute at this point and well i respect canty too much even though he blundered a rook and offered a draw to which he accepted. a fun fact is that we met in a OTB event where i saw him at a chesskid stand way back in december, that was pretty fun
