My Blitz and Bullet Ratings are 300-400 points below my online rating

I am awful at blitz. I hang things on a regular basis. I don't see quick tactical combinations and I get caught off guard when opponents do things I don't expect. In longer games, I'm a bit better, although not great by any means. I feel that speeding up my play and improving tactics would really help my standard game, but I don't know how to do this. I don't like tactics trainers because I know there's a tactic and all I have to do is check forcing moves. In practical games, I don't have time to check all the forcing moves I have, even at 30 min/game. So my tactical skills might not be where they should be, and this is why I loathe blitz- I can't play a game that quickly. I want to know if it's a problem that my blitz and bullet ratings are around 1000-1200 while my standard and online ratings are 1400-1600. Also, are there any good ways to improve at tactics? I don't feel I am learning much from using tactics trainers.

you dont need to be good at blitz or bullet. it doesnt help your skill

Playing blitz and bullet can help your skill, but usually only your blitz and bullet skills.  It all depends on what kind of chess you want to improve at most.  However, playing  blitz and bullet doesn't seem to improve your game at long TC, but playing longer games can help your blitz and bullet ratings.
