My own pawn captured my Queen.

Iiteraly, I was in analysis board, and just like that, my queen was gone.

yup, its a new feauture and much better, if you ask me. You can capture your Queen with a pawn on a real chess board can ya? well, that's what the analyze board is for, to be similiar to a real chess board.

The 'feature' is more a removal of features than anything. Its supposed to allow you access to a rule-free board in which you can only use the pieces still placed.

The new analysis board almost led me to blunder last night when I was tired and playing. I was too tired to calculate in my head so I pop open the board and for a while was working on lines where the other king was moving through check or moving twice.

i was on the starting board and i put the king half on the board and it dissapeard then my next game everything that was on that square got invisible and i couldn't move it so i lost a queen to a rook and he was offering the rook as bait :(

guys, put this discussion aside. Technically, the 'analysis' board offered was a 'cheater' board - it did more than helping us all to visualize: it gave us tips with respect to the rules of chess. Now, in my humble opinion, that is not what a 'neutral' chess board should do for us. Helping us visualize things, sure, that we could do with our own real chessboard. Helping us with the rules? If we need that, honestly, we deserve to loose.

my opinion. I like it better as it is now. Just pay attention.

I think they changed it again.....I couldnt capture his queen with my king anymore from across the board, that sucks....When enver Im in a loosing position, I just open up the analysis board and go on a fantasy killing spree. Its fun.

There's a new checkbox ("Enforce Legal Moves") that determines how the board behaves.  If you can't see it, clear your cache.  This is a (failed) attempt to make everybody happy </grump>
