A brilliant move means that the computer says that the computer could not find that move himself. But some are easy to see so I don't get that

Lastly there was a move Qa4 or Qa5 (or h, depending on the color, can't remember). What I remember is I put the Q on the left most file. Anyway it was a tricky move, I will admit, but even then I never thought it was so good that it would get a brilliant (!!) tag from the computer.
I think its all very random how the computer gives those tags, and I still dont get the whole brilliant move.
Forget about moves. Your post was brilliant. Maybe the computer falling in love is like humans falling iun love. It makes no sense at all.

He´s talking about the event horizon. When good moves are made beyond the computer´s vision, the computer´s evaluation can swing to (say) +3 even with the opponent making the best moves.
i never beleved there was a above and beyond catergory than best
i never new there was a brillant is is rare to get one and i will always remember the time i got one here is the brillant move

That is, without question, a brilliant move. Promotion is a very tricky thing to get right. If you´d promoted to a bishop or a knight it would have been a "whoops!", with the game ending in a draw. Very smart play in avoiding that. In fact, mathematically speaking, you only had a 77.8% chance of making a winning move in this position. Impressive stuff.
i got a brilliant against a bot but it was kind of obvious
best moves are moves that the engine can agree with.
Brilliant moves are the best moves that engines take a long time to find. So the move you played was better then what the engine suggested.
Best moves are the moves engines thinks is the best move for the game.
if all the moves after the book are brillant there is a big chance they are a cheater because they are so rare to find.

I don't have an impressive rating by any means, but I when I analyzed the game I just played, it showed that I had apparently played a "Brilliant" move. It seemed the most obvious move in the position though. But I believe that the difference between "Best Move" and "Brilliant" is as follows. The engine calculates at a certain depth what it considers to be the best move during the game. If you play an even better move, the engine will only afterwards re-evaluate this move to be the best move instead. So in other words it means you played a better move than what the engine initiately evaluated to be the best move if you play a "Brilliant" move.

I love the idea of me thinking about a move like "well this doesn't seem bad, and it protects my knight" and the computer is like "That move looked terrible, but 30 moves ahead it it worked well. By God human, you're a genuis!".
I believe, a brilliant move is one that helps you win. Which is the point of the game... and stuff. Idk this is my first message/post etc..

I brilliant move is that even a bot can't even see
Brilliant move is one which the engine does not consider to be the best move till a certain depth. This is why they say "best move but also tricky to find".
