You can still find the Open Challenges chart in /play!
If you go to our Play Online page you can choose the type of game you'd like on the menu to the right of your screen. After clicking the "Custom" option, you'll also be able to find all the open game challenges by clicking the "Open Challenges" tab and choosing the "List" or "Chart" view.
Here's a guide to the new interface. Hope this settles your concerns regarding it, but feel free to ask any further questions if this is not the exact feature you're referring to!

Thank you Longlivecaissa for that response. I always have used LIVE and so I didn't know about this stuff. I figured there had to be a way to do it!

Our Tournaments page also shows in-progress tourneys!
the green horizontal line separates the ones that have already started from the upcoming ones! Check the "Start Time" column if you're unsure of the exact times regarding each one.

Jogar > Personalizado > Desafios Abertos
i agree with the name, old guys are always cool also with play most of the features are always there and the same from live, its just they are integrated in different sections due to new design

Your link is not the same as the one on the left where you go to "Play", then "Tournaments". There are a lot less tournaments to join. Not even one rapid event is shown. In your link, many of them are listed and I joined one that starts in 30 minutes.
That link iin the main menu s a completely different page. It's a mix of some Live events and Daily tournaments.

Are you just going to state the obvious or put 2 and 2 together to understand why I am pointing out the difference?
The link provided by @longlivecaissa loads the Live tournament list. The menu item hasn't changed in what it displays and accessing the whole list of live events has always been available only within the live and play interfaces.
If you are wanting a separate Live tournaments link in the main menu, I'm guessing that's not going to be added.

It's one of the first things seen when entering Play and Live tournaments haven't been part of the main menu for a very long time. The site has been trying to streamline menus as well.
I won't say it's never going to happen, just that it seems unlikely.

As mentioned, this format has been essentially the same for years; live chess tournaments available within the live interface. Play has been the default interface for a while as well, with the vast majority of members using it, and playing in live tournaments.
Plyers are finding them too
I believe most of the are also available in the links in the side panel on the Play > Tournaments page under the Upcoming links:

The site has two different ways/areas to show upcoming Live tournaments.
Well, they eliminated the game search chart!! That sucks!! Why did they do this? Now I can't see what games people are seeking to decide if I want to play it! The only thing I can do is send out a seek and see who accepts my seek? I don't like this at all!! Why did chess.com make this absurd change? OR.... is there another way you have to go about finding it??
