New Rapid Online Points System?

Rating-wise, there used to be an eight point difference between both winning and drawing a game and between drawing and losing a game. Now, in the last couple matches I have played there was a nine point difference between winning and drawing the game in one match and in the other there were nine point differences between both winning and drawing the game and between drawing and losing the game. Is there any reason for this?

The amount of rating change depends on the difference in player ratings and also on statistical measures of your rating accuracy.

If the points change increases, it seems likely that the statistical measures of your rating accuracy have changed. You should read the article I linked explaining this in greater detail.

I read the article and I think I have a better understanding now. Thanks a lot.
