In correspondence/Daily Chess, players have the full time control to make their moves and certainly can't take as long as they want. However, they can take as much time as they want on any individual moves up to the time they have left on the clock.
But looking at your game history, it looks like you only have played Live. Players do have a finite time to make their moves. In addition, your last 4 games have been played with increment so time gets added to the clock after each move.
To your other point, don't listen to post 2 and ....
But it seems you can take as long as you want here to move. What do I do!?
