North Korea Player?

Quick question regarding the flag thumbnail that represents a player's location.

Is it based on IP address? or can anyone fake it somehow? because a lot of people said that you can't play against someone from North Korea and yet I played with this guy a little while ago.

That's very easy to test. In my profile settings page I changed my country to North Korea, and the flag thumbnail is replaced immediately.

Oh, interesting. I see, thank you.

I am using North Korean flag because I hate nationalities. Since I couldn't find a way to play the game without a flag, I picked North Korean flag, because I know no North Korean is able to play this game. And it looks funny too in my view.

I played a guy with the North Korean flag and I asked him that. He said he worked at an embassy there.  True or not, who knows ?

Who remembers the guy who claimed to be the gay hairdresser for Chairman Kim?

I think it's configurable

It’s configurable. It detects ip when you first create your account. (Friend was using a vpn set to america and so he had an account defaultly set to america). But you can manually change your flag in settings.

You can choose flags. Why North Korea is there, I have no idea.
