Nobody ever looks at the chat box.
Not responding to a "Hello" in an "online" game?

Haha true... Even though I'm from Miami, I DO speak English, however. And actually, the way the programme is set up forces people to look at the chat box, for when a message is typed, the second player's display will be set to the "chat box" tab once he logs into the game.
Futhermore, in practice, I have really had no-one respond to a friendly "hello" in any game, except this fellow. This goes for non-English speakers as well, interestingly enough.

even though and however kinda serve the same purpose there.
Yes, but where did I use the phrases "even though" and "however" in the same sentence?
Furthermore, It's good to see you back on the forums, Flags fellow! Did you spend a little time -- "involuntarily offline" -- in the clink for hooliganism or some such?

Type stuff in the chat box after you make your move.
it's awesome that you're sympathising with this guy. __________ minds think alike.

I did type the stuff in the box after I made my move. We are on about move 15 in the game and I've typed three "hello good luck" type comments with nary a response.
I'm sure the fellow is neither deaf, dumb, or blind like the pinball wizard.

that actually fits pretty well. good one woodie.
Hello all. Right now I'm playing one of those move/3 day games. In the "chat box" I almost always type Hello, greetings, a few times to my opponent. However, in this one particular instance, my opponent (who is from an English-speaking nation) remained silent and did not acknowledge my greeting and friendly salutation. So I sent a couple more messages like "Hello, how are you?" to which he did not respond.
Do you think this is rude and unsportsmanlike? I mean, if someone were to behave like that in an over the board game, I would just stand up, kick the table over and clock the guy right in the temple.
Your thoughts and opinions welcome. Thanks in advance.
