DO all professional chess boards have notations or opposite?

Some do some don't, most of the time when you planning on purchasing a chess board it doesn't have notations! Why?

Do you prefer one with or without notations for all purpose of using it , including friendly matches, tournaments, etc...

I haven't bought boards with letters and numbers on the edges since I was a child because they look like they're designed for idiots and beginners.

When I ordered my regulation set off amazon recently I didn't have a choice. They all had the coordinates.

My wooden board and one of my vinyl boards lack notation. Vinyl boards without notation have become difficult to find. I use my notation-less with my standard tournament set. Some of my opponents have had difficulty notating their games.
