Offline chess software for ipad

The Shredder IPad chess app is good. It has a tactics trainer like on chess.com with 1000 puzzles. The engine is okay. I don't think it is as strong as the PC version or Stockfish but it is fine for quick games.
On my iphone I use tChessPro and SmallFish, I guess they should work fine on ipad.
Thanks for your input.......has anyone tried the Chessking/CT-Art Apps for ipad?
If so, can you use them offline?
there are an oficial Magnus Carlsen app for ios devices

Do you need something like a chess engine to analyse the games, right? You may try Smallfish or Stockfish Chess which both uses the current No. 1 chess engine: Stockfish. No...just a engine to play against and some tactics software.

CT-ART 4.0 is probably the best tactics trainer app (offline) that know of.

In a few weeks time, i will be going sailing for a week and i will not have any internet access at sea. the only chess equipment i can realistically take is my trusty ipad.
Does anyone of any decent software for Ipad that will keep me occupied during down time?
