Online instructors / Coaches......reviews

After looking around for an online instructor, the problem seemed that there were too many....the ICC vendor list is really long, and it's hard to tell anything about the instructors from their little blurbs and/or finger notes.

Choosing from among them is really a shot in the dark, and to be honest I have a very limited chess instruction budget and can't afford to waste lesson money checking different people out.

So I want to create a thread where we can discuss different instructors we have used and what the lessons were like and recommendations, etc.

So please.....let us know what you're found if you've had lessons from aon online instructor.  I'll go first,

I took a few lessons from a FM and liked them, so bought a 30 lesson package (after saving up for a while).  He was really good with answering questions and on a few occasions created lessons on particular topics I was having trouble with.  When I didn't have questions, he had his own plan which included standard positional topics like good and bad bishops and the like.  Those weren't as helpful.  Overall, I would definietly recommend him as his prices are among the lowest around.  Send me a PM if you want to talk further.

I'm looking now for someone to help me  structure my study time effectively.  I simply don't know what to do to improve the quickest during the 20 or so hours per week I have available.

If anyone has a recommended instructor for diagnosing your game and giving you specific training tips, Please let me know.

I look forward to hearing from you guys,
