They know their own rating. If your rating went up, it an improvement. My rating don't go up anymore and stay at this level.
Online playing professionals

Some of us NMs from the USCF did not have opportunities to play in FIDE rated events like Europeans. I find your attitude rather typical of snobbish Europeans, but don't worry--it's an attitude that dates back to Morphy's time. You have plenty of company.

Yeah, that is pretty damn snobbish.
USA masters can beat anybody because due to our Swiss system tournaments you have to be able to score wins, not draws.

FMs are stronger than NMs and CM shouldnt exist and shouldnt be considered a title, so I get the OP.

[---] has by far the most titled players. It is afterall the oldest server.
True dat, it has Magnuts in there!

This was written 3 years ago when I did not know much about titles, strength of their play and many other things (I started chess more seriously around that time). I really don't even remember what kind of precise views I had or what initiated this post. However I have no problems of this kind anymore. I guess I thought NM was a title only for Americans, but it is not.

Hello!
On what server/site could I find the most professionals (titled players starting from for example FM) playing on?
Unfortunately it feels that some of the titled players who used to play here are not doing it anymore. For example in this spring it was quite active but now it isn't . Also I am not too interested in NM (usa) play; and promoting them on the scale as it is done now is weird.
EDIT: This post was based on some misconceptions I had three years ago about the NM title as I thought it was seriously weaker than it really is.
