In my opinion online ratings are fairly volatile and there’s a lot of variables that make any meaningful conversion unreliable. For example I’m around 2k in most time controls on Lichess and when I was playing on chess.com here earlier this year I got 2k rapid, but I’m 1600 USCF, granted I’m not an active tournament player presently. I think if you want to see where you stand in OTB then you gotta play OTB rated events for a good 20 games or more and see how it turns out.

I'm trying to get a handle on what my theoretical OTB playing strength should be. I've played sparingly in USCF events over the last several years and so there is a relatively small sample size.
My online rapid rating has been as high as 2034. It's quite a bit lower now, for several reasons that mostly involve me not caring about rating points and resigning salvageable games so that I can move onto the next game, but I'm confident I can reclaim my previous high.
So how good exactly is a 2000+ rapid rating on Chess.com? Does that roughly correlate with 2000 USCF? 1800? Something else? I know this is far from an exact science, but just looking for a ballpark range. FWIW my actual OTB rating is 1680.
