Overplaying

Is it possible to overplay ?? I have always gone with the assumption that the more you play, the better you get ? How do I know what the balance is ??

You can play so much that you don't like the game anymore. I played once 20 games at the same time. Then one can get bored. Now I play under ten games and it feels much better.I would advice to play a small number of games and read books about chess.

definetly, i sometiems have the feeling that when i play everyday i need a break to play good again. i mean its still ok to study chess and your learn i just think that concentration during a game gets really bad.
