Go to Settings --> Password: it's the third from the bottom
Password

Maybe a better way to ask this question is how can I recover a lost password. I almost got locked out this morning trying to switch to the old version of chess.com. But I got back into the new one and wonder what I'm going to do If my computer forgets it.

Ah - well, from the main Chess.com screen where you can enter your username and password, there is a "Forgot password"? between the text field where you enter your password and the "Log In" button. If you click on that, it takes you to a new screen where you can enter your details and the system will sent an e-mail to your specified e-mail address that will allow you to reset your password.

Never mind. I never have to get onto Dashlane so I forgot it was there. It had the password. I have so many passwords that when I couldn't go on and I ran through them there must have been a typo. Sorry:-)

I recommend a password vault such as Keepass. It stores all your passwords in an encrypted file. Then write your Keepass password on a piece of paper you keep in a secure location.
That way you can have a different password for every site (so if one gets hacked they're not all compromised) and not worry about forgetting any of them.

Password Managers is the way to go. If you're running Windows 10, I would recommend #1 PASSWORD MANAGER (one of the best on Windows 10): http://www.companova.com/PasswordManager/
