Patience is greater then Pride!

(Eccl.7:8), "The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit."

I'd like to take a little time to explain to my personal experiences with both.

In my past I have been proud and full of pride - Reaching the best no matter - no matter what anyone said! - To find my inner limits and blow them out of the water each and everytime even when up against Giants or Undefeatable Odds and coming out on top most times! (From this perspective, I'd say Pride is fun, entertaining, useful, makes you happy, gives you a purpose and you don't have to wait forever for something you may or may not get it - YOU JUST GET IT!

PRIDE WINS. (In that sense).

Patience wins. (In another sense.)

Patience however as I have seen is very similar to Top End Speeds in a high end racing car, Sure Acceleration wins on a short track!(Kinda like Pride) - But on a long track! Top end leaves acceleration for dead! Kinda like how Knights are short range and good at the start! and how Bishops are long range and are good at the end of the game(when the pawns have opened up)

But basically what I'm saying is! - I have used both Pride and both Patience.

I do have a personal favourite bewteen the two but I do not wish to say which is my favourite!

My advice? - Probably listen to the bible about people being patient will have the biggest pay off (Like a Ninja lying in wait) (Patient/Patience)

The only thing with Pride is you do not want to fall too far! :-S

Anyways it's totally up to you guys how you wish to play!

You can play with Pride and keep attacking till you win.

You can play with Patience and defend until you get the chance to seize the moment!

Whatever side you choose! - Pick WISELY!

Peace!

In the near future, I will post points about why I prefer Pride at times and why I prefer Patience at other times and overall what one I will ultimately side with! - Try do the same for yourself and see where your true motives lie! - As they say, If you know what you'd do in Chess, You'd know what you will do in real life!

If you're really interested in this sort of stuff you'd probably get some good discussion on a christian or philosophy forum.

Potentially mate. That being said! - I only use Chess.com and I would also like to intergrate, Art, Science, Logic, Creativity, Intelligence, Stupidity, All sorts all in one for real life and prove how it even works in Chess games in certain ways! - Sure my ELO is low and has been consistantly heck this account has not been above 1200 ELO, but hey! - The hair learnt something from the tortoise did he not?

There is alot of shortcuts and study procedures that can help the entire planet if laid out in a way that it is universal, for example?

Keep everything simple but mix it up with addons.

If you can keep attacking in Chess brutally and know for sure where to strike, if you do the same in real life on certain things, (Say a Martial Arts tournament? Get amped up and fight as if it was a Chess game or vice versa, all sorts of things)

Get where I'm going?
