I heard from several people that this is a good read. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/pawn-structure-chess-andrew-soltis/1030517355. However, pawn structure books tend to be rather tedious in their uh specificity--or so I've heard. So, be sure it's something you really want to look into.
Pawn structure

Can't go wrong with Danny Rensch's series of videos. He really has a knack for explaining chess concepts.

The Soltis book is excellent.
Where could I find this at?
You'll have to find a used copy somewhere. Amazon has a few

It IS getting a bit pricey on the used book market. I wonder how the publishers make the decision to reprint a book?

I really don't know for sure. Probably a mix of demand, publishing rights and how fast the previous version took to sell out.
I thought that price was pretty high too; even the cheapest ones don't appear to be in the best condition.

That's why I went to the uscf website and got a couple of dvds off there. The prices weren't to bad.
I can't seem to find a book on pawn structures in any local book store. Is there some online website that I could purchase so off of? Also, what book or books do you guys reccomend I read first?
Lights out
