Peaks and Valleys

Ive noticed with my own chess playing that I get peaks and valleys. Sometimes I will be on a roll where I will be really strong in my chess games and I will keep winning game after game and then sometimes I will be in a slump where I will keep losing and where I will make mistakes that would get me in trouble in my games. So with Chess I get peaks and valleys. Good times and bad times.

Yes, it looks like you had a paticularly sharp decline just last month when your blitz rating fell from 893 to 163 in only 5 days. Losing 38 in a row must have been tough.

What diabolical openings were your opponents using that caused you to resign in only a few moves in each of those games?

/ It might be a mistake to call attention to your peaks and valleys when you have been sandbagging...

38 in a row. wow chris.

I mean people DO get peaks and valleys yes, but that Grand canyon Isn't typical.

I play 1000-1200 blitz and I honestly can't imagine going below say 800.

so why do you think that your Losing SO much?    Once your playing 600 players surely you've Got to be seeing Lots of easy and crushing tactics....

thegreat_patzer

correct, There's No awful openings.  Chris has been deliberately losing games. 38 of them (at least)

I JUST looked.

Chris it is against the rules to play like this.

perhaps you just wanted to play down to 200, to play the site's easiest chess players?

well, its still against the rules.

almost none of those games are legit.
