Perfect openings, low elo rating

Everybody here plays the openings almost perfect ? Do you use an online analyse tool ?

Also when I was playing to other websites my elo rating increased quickly to 2000 but in this site I think is difficult to have an elo rating over 1700. Is this due to a different way of elo calculating or for some other reason relaing to my first two questions ?

I do tend to strong opening theory but this comes at a price ie mid game not as good endgame not as good my grade here is 1407 alot of room for improvement i do not use tools to aid my opeings but will study when i aint playing

i don't focus too much on openings.  Sometimes I pay for it by getting a very cramped position as black against 1.d4 for example, but a lot of times I can steer the openings towards positions I have played a lot before.  I much prefer facing 1.e4 to 1.d4 as black.  As white, I always play 1.e4 and try for a Ruy lopez exchange variation, French Defence exchange variation, or Sicilian Alapin variation and try to get into the middlegame as quickly as possible

chesshole ever used the Dutch v 1d4 blacks sicilian weapon to 1d4 can lead to double edged games that will allow you an uncramped position and alot of fun

People can use an openings database in online chess, such as the one here on chess.com.

The live ratings here run low. Despite what appear lower than expected ratings, you are in the top 4% of blitz players on this site.

What I mean with my last question, is that my ELO rating is much lower than I was expecting to be. This is not because I have become worst player suddently. Maybe in USA the formula to calculate  "ELO rating"  is different than the european one. Do you know anything about  ?

For starters, chess.com uses the glicko rating system, not the ELO rating system.

Your expectations are based on the same rating system used for an entirely different pool of players. You are near the top here.

Internet ratings aren't real.  People should feel proud of their accomplishments but 2200+ on the internet doesn't make one a master.

Nothing is real. Real is an illusion. Even illusions presuppose the real. You are what you are and you ain't what you ain't.
