im not sure, I dont believe so
Play again from specific point in game
Hi, another rookie here. I don't know if this will help or not? Martin Stahl mentioned this link in another forum post recently.

I've never played so-called "daily" chess, (used to be called correspondence chess?), so I don't know how that works. I think it's designed to be one move every X days or something like that, like people used to do on postcards? But I remember reading somewhere that there's no reason why both players shouldn't play the moves quite quickly, and finish the game as soon as that's possible, if they wanted to. And the above link seems to suggest you can set up an arbitrary starting position.
Haven't tried any of this myself, so I've no idea if it will really work. Good luck

Just start a new game and play out the moves until you reach the position you're happy with. You can reach whatever position you want in under 2 mins if you cooperate.

Thank you, @Roastinator123! This is the type of shortcut I was looking for! However, I tried the steps above and got through step 4 - but I can't seem to find out how to execute Step 5 / challenge another human? I can "Finish vs Computer" - but can't another way. Any suggestion? (Thank you again!)

You can't do it in Live, only Daily.

I don't see @Roastinator123 's advice on this page. Where are the steps @m0neyball outlined? TIA.

Which only works for Daily games and vs Computer
Hi, pardon the rookie question here. I'm learning chess with my son, and we just played a close game (unrated). Ideally, we'd like to play again from an interesting point in the midgame.
Is that possible to do on chess.com?
Thanks in advance.
