Player cheating by network attach

Hi chess player fellows,

Today, I played games (randomly matched against) [removed -- MOD]. The first game I lose which I admitted that I did not play well. I asked for a rematch, and I played well but at the point this layer losing he tried to network attach me. After that I even cannot connect or create a new game (Your challenge cannot be created because of your internet connection. Please reconnect and try again. -> Note that my internet is working normal and I still can browse web or match youtube).

Other players and admin can check my latest two games.

If the admin cannot address this issue, this is no longer a fair environment to play fun game as before. Sadly I have to say I used to love chess.com but may have to give up on it and find a better place to play chess.

Thanks,

BabyChessy

If he attaches too much, you might loose the game.

This just happened to me too.

The Live server crashed; no one is cheating and your opponent can not impact your connection.

Staff is aware of the issue and is working on it.

The site wouldn't load in various ways for me recently too. It happened to everyone.

You connect it to your games because your puny human brains search for patterns even when they don't exist.

Is this why we would get a message about changing our network connections? I have been able to create a challenge for about the last 15 minutes

MorphysMayhem

Inrestarted my router and my computer and cleared browser cache. Still no luck

Yes, live went down about that time. Live server is in maintenance now.

This happened to me many times before. Imagine that you fairly resign for the first game since you admitted that your opponent played better. On the second game, you play better, then you got network attached and loose. How do you feel?

For me, I always play fair and even resign when loosing or when I have to leave in the middle of the game, hitting this situation is very upset. I know life is always unfair, but the job of chess.com admins is to maintain this place a fair and fun environment for chess players.

Sorry, that is my 2 cents and good bye.

saikant

same even I'm unable to launch the game

Another forum troll! If he wasn't one, he wouldn't complain like this, or at least he would read the responses and spell properly!

I think the same thing happened to me, I was winning a game and my computer ran out of battery all of a sudden. I don't know how but he managed to empty it somehow. maybe I should report him.
