Player to avoid in the spirits of good chess

Hi all, this is just a general post on good sportsmanship

I played a player by the name of [no naming or shaming in the forums, please]

I won the match on time as I was being friendly and didnt want to check him because I had two queens and he only has a king so I wanted to be fair by not checking him. This person left me a nasty comment in the chat box and called me a 'puss*'

He/she  invited me for a remacthed which I didnt respond, they again left me with another horrible comment 'puss* shyt'.

I felt really shocked at this person's attitude, how could a friendly game turned one's manners so ugly?

This is my advice and experience so please avoid this player in the spirits of good chess. Thank you for reading this post and here is the link to match with that person.

it is appropriate to contact support about member behaviour so that a staff member can contact the person, rather than going to this extreme

CCW, I cant understand why you were "playing with your food"

The game could have been a steam rolled about a dozen times but when you finally promoted your queen there is no excuse for not mating him in under 10 moves. If you find mating a problem in your games I suggest you read up on end games.

I mean this all constructively but your play almost invited him to get irratated.

From move 64:f1=Q+ onwards you play a very rude game and I find it not in the spirit of good sportmanship, you should not "play with your food" in that manner.

Even though the fella should of course not resort to abusive behaviour.

i think that the phrase "playing with your food" is appropriate. please avoid that kind of behavior if you want to make friends over a chess board.

If you plan on winning, get used to it. Apparently it's a site wide epidemic spreading faster than deadly diseases. Someone wins, then cue the haters to "bring them down a notch". They can't stand a winner.

OP's account has been closed for god knows how long. Nine months, actually.

Please stop dragging up threads that are 9 months old and weren't worth posting in in the first place.

So I shouldn't call people a puss* when I lose? Is that the moral of the story?

That post is only 9 months, nothing wrong with bringing it up again. Some peoples bring 4 years old thread again so when do you draw the line ? prrff who care anyway.

There are heaps of players out there who had this kinda attitude. It's their typical responce once you've won on time or you've beat them a great number of times. I dont know where did they get those manner but one thing is for sure... I always BLOCK guys who's attitude is like that right away
