Whenever you gte black, abort the game, then start a new one. Keep repeating until you get white.
Or until you get banned!

I'm serious ... a lot of people on chess.com do that. Also, it's highly unlikely that you will get banned if you don't play a lot. Mathematically, the chance of you gettting white without having to about is 1/2. The chance of having to abort once is 1/4, twice is 1/8, and three times is 1/16. Chess.com allows 2 aborts before your account is restricted, and there's only a 1 in 16 chance that you won't get to play as white after 2 aborts. See? I'm serious, or else I wouldn't have taken the time to write such a brilliant and detailed analysis.
As a black enthusiast, the opening for black really depends on what white does, and your preference/ability.
The goal: To achieve positional equalization.
For example, if they do e4, you can achieve "equalization" (not really the definition of the concept, but the idea is the same.) by playing sicilian defense to increase your statistical probability of winning greater than theirs.
D4 is a lot more tricky, as the best move for white, the best statistical response is nf6, but beginning players often get swamped if they play Nf6, and so d5 might be better.
Watch moves you can do to win your tempo back. If they give it to you, take your tempo. A good example is if a piece protecting something moves, then take the piece it was protecting. Ethier they loose the exchange, or.... congratulations, you just won your tempo, and are now bent on winning/drawing.
At the beginning level black wins a lot more often due to the uncanny ability of finding blunders that your opponent makes. If they give you free material, however, do hesitate to take it. They might have a lot more sneakier ideas up their sleave.

But at the beginner level, chances are it's just a dropped piece. 99% of the time you won't get in trouble if you take it.

Put some kind of color filter on your spectacles in order to convert the Whites to Black and Blacks to Whites, and only wear the specs when you're playing the wrong color.

Shout "FIRE!"
When your opponent turns round to look - quickly turn the chess board round so it looks like you were always white.
If your opponent argues with you after tell them they are mistaken - probably due to shock caused by the fire.
Chess.com allows 2 aborts before your account is restricted...
Is this fact, or are you just making it up for humor?
I abort if my opponent has not played his first move in 15 seconds. I've aborted as many as 5 games in a row.

I think if you press the "abort" button 3 times in a row your account gets restricted for some amount of time. However, you can also abort by not making any moves at the beginning of the game, and letting the system abort. I once did that 5 times in a row, just to test it out, and I got a warning, but I could still play.

Without seeing a sample game, it's hard to give specific advice. Although, if you're having trouble specifically as Black, it suggests you're not handling the opening well. Maybe you're trying to be too aggressive? Try playing using the general opening principles; aim to castle as soon as possible; and aim for equality and a playable middlegame before going on the attack. If I can achieve a balanced and playable middlegame as Black then I'll be happy.

Yep, you should post a game or two so that we can see. To get anything fixed you need to be really specific as to what the problem is.

The only way to get comfortable playing black is to play black a lot. If you have a chess program on your comp or an app for your pad/phone just play black for a while againt the computer.
Check this site out, http://chessopenings.com and concentrate on watching the vids of black defenses. Do a search on Youtube for defenses. Pick a couple you think you can understand(one for e4, one for d4) and practice them constantly. Online and against the computer. Download PGN's of those defenses and study them. You can find a huge selection for free here... Chessgames.com
Load them in Arena, SCID or one of the other programs that you can load PGN's in and you're off and running...
Fairly quickly you will lose your fear of playing black. Good luck man.

At lower rating levels the advantage playing White seldom exists, if you have some sort of mental block playing black then take Spiritbro's advice & play black until you are comfortable with it.
What worked for me was to play an attacking defence, Sicilian or Grunfeld worked for me, but a strong counter attack gets you out of the problem of just meeting Whites play & threats & waiting for something to happen.
i need help playing black , any advice is welcome. i am really bad at this one , white not so much,, thanks
